Hi there,

I'd like to tell you and your readers about a new web based discussion forum for Scottish Airgun shooters. I believe that the way things are going for the airgun shooting scene, it is a crucial step forward if we wish to promote our sport and hobby.

www.AirgunScotland.org

I've been a shooter for over 30 years, ranging from air weapons to small/full bore pistols, rifles and shotguns.

I'm a press photographer and am sickened by the hysterical anti gun lobby we see in our society and press. (including my employers!) I was always brought up to be safe and responsible with firearms and I'm sure we all agree that we need to unite and work together to protect our hobby in these uncertain days.

I am a professional photographer/video production/multimedia consultant and part of my work involves web design/hosting/discussion forum hosting. I have spare capacity on my servers and as my paying work allows me to subsidise my hobbies I have designed a web site and discussion forum that is free to airgun users in Scotland. You and your readers are more than welcome to use it, and I believe that if we can get all airgunners to get together in one area we would be better placed to promote our hobby.

The forum has photo galleries, blogs, competitions, calendars and individual areas that any club can have for private chat, a for sale/wanted section, in fact anything an airgunner requires is either there or can be added. I stress that this is free, I believe that you get out of your hobby what you are prepared to put in, and this is my contribution, however small, to our hobby.

I have extensive experience of running forums, and have already got a few dealers interested in offering discounts and bulk buy deals for any members.

Why not have a look at the forum, free registration and browse....

www.AirgunScotland.org

Please forward this mail to all your airgun contacts and if you have any queries, feel free to contact me by email or my mobile 07966 188238.

Regards

Hi Strike Team, nice avatar.. I'm a Lee Enfield fan, used to collect and shoot them! Ah... them were the days! 600 yards at Dechmont... combat sights and military surplus ammo...

Anyway, press release going out to them tonight!

And Mosstrooper, Kenny McKaskill? In fact.... that might not be a bad idea........

Reading through old posts and wid like tae recommend another Org tae send this to Lenny, revitalise the subject eh! Scottish Gamekeepers Association. I`m a full member and also insured through them. They offer 10million liability Insurance and pretty much cover anything ye can shake a stick at as regards countrysports etc, all for £30 per annum. Also a purely Scottish Org like oor ain favourite wee forum here and gives support to the lads n lassies doing the job.

Cheers,
