Hi there guys,

I'm just writing to keep you all posted on how things are with AGS. We now have 1025 members which is pretty impressive, thanks for spreading the word guys. Lets keep promoting AGS as THE best forum for Scottish Airgunners...

I've not been about as much as I would have liked, I'm going through a divorce and a new girlfriend in Aberdeen keeps me away all weekend. My rifles are sold, I don't have the time or the money now but AGS is definitely here to stay. I will be making a few changes soon, having a few assistant admins to help me run the forum. I still have to think of ways of supporting the forum financially, and also paying for a new photo gallery. Ideas always welcome..

One niggly little issue. I have had a few complaints about some people being rude or offensive in the forum or shoutbox. This is NOT going to be tolerated and I will be putting a warning system in place. If a member steps out of line they will get an official warning, a certain amount of warnings and they will be suspended or banned. This is not being draconian, it is just to stop members getting grief or hassle. If you see a post that you find offensive then instead of starting a slagging match, report that post to a moderator and it shall be looked at. We are all meant to be adult, lets use our common sense folks?

Can I ask if any member hasn't visited recently, please revisit the forum. If you left for a particular reason, then please tell me about it, I will do my best to sort it...

On another subject, if there is enough interest I WILL get more badges, hats, stickers etc.... I'll start a new topic on that one...
