Get rid o that piece o nonsense FX Chooch and get yersel a descent rifle. Ye wid be better stickin tae yer Webley, at least it`s reliable.
.
As fur pellets, RWS Superdomes, Super H Point, Air Arms Field or Hunter, H&H Barracudas to name a few.
Andy.

I huvnae been oot wi the webley yit Chooch, it`s mair o a collector piece fur me than tae use. It`s a` good and well havin a nice lookin rifle but, i wid rather huv an ugly rifle that i ken i can depend on.
Ye should have stuck this post in General air gun chat or that Chooch, this sections a` aboot the air weapon ban and suchlike. Ye`ll get used tae it as ye go on bud.

Give field target tropheys a go I find them very stable, I use them in both my Air Arms and my FX cutlas.
Hope you enjoyed the fun shoot on Sunday and nobudy had any side effects from Sue's cooking.

Hi al.your Typhoon is fitted with a walther choked barrel and should be acurate with any quality pellet from the well known european manufacturers, unfortunatly to get the best with regard to acuracy and energy retention you will have to try samples of each type and head size to find your barrels preferd diet. Each and every barrel is slightly diferent from the next even examples of the same make and even batch will differ as to their preferance.I shoot a Daystate MK4 again with a walther barrel and find Bisley long range gold and magnums to print the tightest groups, followed by Airarms and Daystate branded pellets, my FX Cyclone preferd Airarms Field 4.52.My advice for what it is worth is to beg or borrow twelve pellets of each type from your mates and try them on the range, shoot of a stable bench suported and print two groups of five with each type and run the other two through a chrono.Your aim is to find an acurate round that carries energy down range.
Hope this is of some help Davie.
Interested in most shooting disciplines. Enjoy using air rifle, rimfire, center fire, and shotgun for sport. use the air rifle, a Ben Taylor/ FX Cyclone in 177 mostly for vermin control and target practice, and recently HFT with the Grampian Air Rifle Club.I also own a modified ruger 1022,and a HW60J
