.20 and .25 cal rifles

Hi all,

I am on quite a tight budget but would like to buy a .25 calibre Air rifle or maybe even a .20 cal one.

This is just for target practice etc.

Would like to know what manufacturers make these size of calibres and what is the cheapest you have seen (as i say tight budget!).Is the max uk power for these also 12ft lbs?Type doesnt matter ie co2,air or spring.

seems to be alot of .22 and .177 out there but not much on the .20 and .25 on the net.

thanks for the info.

Hi after reading a few posts on a few websites about brand new air rifles sping, pcp, etc guys have bought these guns new from gun shops and have tried them on a chrono and found they are over the legal limit now the guns are anti tamper what chance does someone who is starting shooting have off being charged for haveing a gun over the limit, who are the police going to beleve ??? i think the 12ft lb limit should be raised if the gun makers cannot fully gaurantee the gun is the legal limit, what do you think

Apology from JGARC

Like to take this opportunity to apologise on behalf of the Club (JGARC) for two members of the shooting community who turned up to a re-scheduled shoot. (Davy kay and Jimmy Watson)
Through no fault of our own (JGARC) The dates had not been updated on the SARPA website for months, I have spoken to Graham Ellis (Current SARPA chairman) who apoligised and will rectify it ASAP.

Can i just stress that any of the SHFT league shoots will only be advertised and kept up to date on either this site or Shooting The Breeze.
Although not directly our fault i can sympathise and relate to the feeling of having travelled any distance and found out the event not being on!
Can I also pointed out that there are still advertised SARPA HFT shoots which have been withdrawn, that are still being advertised.

Thanks for your time in reading this.
